Lot 128 - Set of brown English cob size harness complete with Liverpool bit. A well-made, quality set that has been looked after over the years and kept supple


Lot 142 (1) - A very good quality set of black/red leather harness with studs stamped G.Dudley, maker, Southend to fit 14 to 14.2 hh with nickel horseshoe buckles, keepers and embellishments. Consisting of a black patent pad with terrets, a heavy black and tan 20ins collar with hames and tugs, a blinkered bridle with horse head embellishments, horseshoe ring bit and cheek pieces, clincher brow band with rosettes. There is also breeching with back strap, crupper, traces and a set of brown plaited reins. It comes with another lighter 20ins collar. Has not been used for 14 years but has been cleaned, carefully wrapped and stored in that time, an inherited set that now deserves to be used

Lot 902 - An early 19thC leather fire bucket with gold painted crest inscribed Institututed 1696 surrounding a crown above a pair of hands, (for the In Hand Insurance Co. now incorporated within the Aviva Insurance Group)


Lot 924 - A fine pair of original whitemetal Hearse rails, each bar in three pieces with the ends decorated with flower-like terminals and acorns. The centrepiece is decorated with a two-handled urn with a laurel wreath decoration surmounted by flower flutes and an acorn finial. The top of each support decorated with flower flutes etc. Overall length 58ins, height 18ins


Lot 944 (1) - A rare front coffin casket from a Shillibeer Hearse, measuring 4ft 8ins long long overall with bowed glazed doors at either end set in brass frames. Body of mahogany framing. The floor with central pivot and 5 white metal sliding strips and locking plates. All glass in good condition. Very slight damage to woodwork in one corner approx. 2ft – 3ft long. Basically complete and in good condition.
